I have my sonic screwdriver, my red wig and my Doctor..! Roll on All Hallows Eve!
I need to find a Doctor Who fan for Halloween… I want to go as Amy but I need a doctor!!
Loved this film. Didn’t expect to, I get a bit irritated if I think it’s gonna be a cliche chick flick. Luckily it wasn’t. My favourite scene has got to be when Ryan Gosling’s character (Jacob) and Emma Stone’s character (Hannah) are talking in bed and sharing stories and laughing so hard. That’s just it, they get love in this film. It’s what Love Actually thought it was doing but it totally ballsed it up.

First week at Uni was far from a doddle. Something about being closer to a bus pass than most first years makes it a whole heap harder. I’ve chosen my subjects, that’s Creative Writing, English, Psychology and Philosophy. Which means a butt load of work this year. Psychology has fierce competition but I have some clues as to what to expect from it already, so perhaps that’ll help.
I joined plenty of societies, only problem is I think they are all meeting on the same days!! Writers, photography, mature students, vegetarian and oh - archaeology. Archaeology was a last minute thing. I felt sorry for them, they were worried they’d be shut down. Gotta love an underdog.

I actually got into my first choice - I got Creative Writing with Arts. There were 15 places for this specialism.. and only 2 for mature students! So I’ve been quite shocked. I haven’t been telling people really it just feels like bragging, and I’m not very good at that. Unless I’m drunk. Hmm perhaps I should get a bottle of malibu in me and announce it on facebook. That’d be dead classy.
For anyone thinking about starting Zumba- do it. It is heaps of fun and it definitely works (if you go at the same pace as the instructor). You may feel like an uncoordinated buffoon to begin with but it takes no time at all to get used to. I’m back in my skinny jeans - they are the painted on type so yes it really has worked for me!
